Replica of a Chair from St. Barbara Church near Škofja Loka

When comparing to the original, two smaller details were slightly altered:

- A flange plug was removed at the lower part of the legs which was originally used for an extention of a kneeler or some other part;

- Originally a groove with a thin saw was made all the way to the top of the upper part of the leg. In the replica I have made a groove that ends 10mm bellow the top in order to enable a better stability of the chair.

According to the inspection of the original I have estimated that the wood-turned parts are made of walnut wood, the upper bindings of maple wood, seat part of the core part of pinewood log and dowel of oak wood. There were no traces of varnish coating, therefore I have decided to use natural flax-oil coating.
